Forged steel wheel casters are the premium of all the steel wheel casters. The forged steel wheel is made from ASTM 1045 high carbon steel that is hot drop forged. It offers the maximum weight capacity, impact strength, and durability of all caster wheels. For a metal wheel with similar capacities and durability, but is more economical, check out our ductile steel wheel casters.
V groove wheels are designed to guide equipment by rolling on inverted angle iron track. Please note if more than one track is being used, it is critical for the tracks to be parallel, strait and level. Otherwise the wheels could bind or derail. Recommend track tolerance is 1/64″ per 20 Feet.
