Rubber on aluminum wheels offer a smooth, quiet, & cushioned ride that will protect floors. Considered an upgrade from rubber on nylon or rubber on cast iron, these wheels are lightweight & resistant to corrosion & rust. This wheel also offers a non-marking tread.
This wheel has an attractive finish that make it popular for customers seeking a decorative look. If a higher capacity is needed, we recommend checking out our polyurethane or thermoplastic rubber wheel casters.
We would not recommend these wheels for applications that require sitting in one spot for long periods of time under heavy loads.
* Total locking brake casters work best with softer wheels like neoprene, soft rubber, thermoplastic rubber & polyurethane. The softer wheel allows the brake pad to grip the tread effectively. While total locking brakes also work with harder wheels, a strong push may cause slight movement of the caster wheel.
