Our hardened steel spanner bushings are highly durable & are designed to resist wear. They feature drilled holes to allow grease to reach the bearings.
Commonly used with 2-1/2″ wide wheels that have a plain bore or a short roller bearing kit meaning the wheel has internal thrust washers & a 2-7/8″ hub length.
When using a spanner inside a wheel, the bracket, washer or nut should tighten against the spanner, not the wheel, allowing the wheel to spin freely. The spanner should also be slightly wider than the wheel’s hub.”
