Retort Wheels are hard plastic and most often used in food facilities, such as meat packing plants, because their white color easily shows whether the wheel is clean or not. The wheels is made out of heavy duty plastic and are designed to not crack or chip. These wheels are lightweight yet hold high weight capacities and are also non-marking. They also are washable, steam cleanable, impervious to water, and highly resistant to solvents, oils, grease, most chemicals, and cleaning solutions. These wheels are similar to polyolefin and nylon wheels but offer a higher temperature rating.
